When Beyonce chanted, “Who run the world? Girls”, I don’t think she meant just any girls – she was referring to a specific breed of girls – Mothers. I don’t need to sit here and try to convince you why Mother’s Day is probably the most important celebration that we recognize as a society. Honoring the women who are the very rocks that hold our families together should actually be done everyday, but… there’s only so many flowers in this world. So thank you to all the mothers out there, we love you and hope you know that you’re oh-so appreciated <3

Blythe Danner & Gwyneth Paltrow

Besides being beautiful blonde bombshells and sharing an overall…gentle essence, both of these women are mommies too. We think this mom-daughter duo is a special bond that is worthy of LOTS OF ATTENTION.

While the relationship between this mom-daughter duo has seen some rocky times, there is no denying that when held up side by side, they make a beautiful team. We can only hope, in honor of Mother’s Day and everything it stands for that they’re able to mend the damage – life is too short, ladies!

Probably the cutest/wildest/spunkiest mom-daughter duo to exist. They’ve both got smiles that light up a room and their maternal bond with one another lights up our hearts.

Susan Sarandon & Eva Amurri

Susan and her daughter Eva, appear to have one of the more relatable and genuine relationships among the many Hollywood fams. Not only do they share stunning characteristics (look at those eyes and bone structure!), they’ve also starred side-by-side in the best film to exist: The Banger Sisters. #fact

Sharon & Kelly Osbourne

Not only has this mom-daughter duo made headlines on music, television and fashion stages, they’ve also recently made headlines on the charity stage with their work for FTBC (Fashion Targets Breast Cancer). The campaign holds a special place in these ladies hearts, with Sharon undergoing a preventative double mastectomy just over a year ago. Mothers, daughters ~unite~.

Tina Knowles & Beyonce Knowles

Bey doesn’t shy away from proclaiming her love for her mother. She’s said time and time again that Tina is the most inspirational woman in her life, which I think is something that all of us daughters can relate to.

Marcheline Bertrand & Angelina Jolie

The resemblance between Angelina and the late, Marcheline is crazy. They looked more like twin sisters rather than mother and daughter. While the pair may have gotten off to a rough start (Marcheline apparently abandoned Angelina until she was three), luckily she returned and the relationship was mended. Angelina actually credits her mom for getting her into the acting world and paid homage by naming her 26th child, Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt.

Ingrid Bergman & Isabella Rossellini

Arguably, the most popular (and beautiful) actress throughout Hollywood’s Golden Age, Ingrid Bergman gave birth to surprise, surprise an equally stunning and talented beauty, Isabella Rossellini. The legacy seems to be going strong as seen in Isabella’s daughter, Elettra Rossellini Widemann.

So daughters, tell your mommies that you love them dearly! Happy Mother’s Day to all!

And if you and your mom has Facebook, you should be our friend. We can all share secrets and be lifelong biffles and stuff.
